Pre-sale Announcement
This page introduces how to make a pre-sale announcement on the product page before the launch of a new product.
If you have not yet enabled the embedded app, please activate it from the initial setup.
Output
This page will introduce how to set up a pre-sale announcement for a new product scheduled to be released on January 1, 2025, using the app. By implementing the settings introduced, the product will be in the following state:
Until December 31, 2024:
The cart button and dynamic checkout button are hidden.
A message saying "This product will be released on January 1, 2025" is displayed where the cart button used to be.
From January 1, 2025:
The cart button and dynamic checkout button are displayed.
How to Set Up
Step 1: Create a Selling Period Rule
From the app's left menu, click "Selling Period Rules".
From the Selling Period Rules screen, click "Create Rule".
3. On the Create Selling Period Rule screen, enter the following:
Title: Any text
Selling Period:
Start Date: Set to "2025-01-01 12:00 AM"
Before Selling period:
Product message: Enter "This product will be released on January 1, 2025."
Alert message: "The sale of the product has not yet started."
During Selling period:
Product message: Any text
4. Click "Save" in the top right corner of the screen.
Step 2: Apply the Selling Period Rule to Products
From the app's left menu, click "Product List."
On the Product List page, check the box next to the products you want to apply the rule to.
Click the "Apply Rule" button.
In the dialog that appears, select the rule you created in Step 1.
Click "Apply" within the dialog.
