Limited-Time Sales
This page introduces how to set up for conducting limited-time sales.
If you have not yet enabled the embedded app, please activate it from the initial setup.
Output
This page will guide you through setting up a product for limited-time sales from January 1, 2025, to January 31, 2025. By implementing the settings introduced, the product will be in the following state:
Until December 31, 2024:
The cart button and dynamic checkout button are hidden.
A message stating "This product will start selling on January 1, 2025" is displayed where the cart button used to be.
From January 1, 2025, to January 31, 2025:
The cart button and dynamic checkout button are displayed.
A message stating "This product is on sale for a limited time from January 1, 2025, to January 31, 2025" is displayed directly below the cart button.
From February 1, 2025:
The cart button and dynamic checkout button are hidden.
A message stating "This product's sale ended on January 31, 2025" is displayed where the cart button used to be
How to Set Up
From the app's left menu, click "Selling Period Rules."
On the Selling Period Rules page, click "Create Rule."
3. On the Create Selling Period Rule screen, enter the following:
Title: Any text
Selling Period:
Start date: Set to "2025-01-01 12:00 AM"
Check the box to Set end date
End date: Set to "2025-01-31 11:59 PM"
Before selling period:
Product message: Enter "This product will start selling on January 1, 2025."
Alert message: Enter "The sale of the product has not yet started."
During selling period:
Product message: Enter "This product is on sale for a limited time from January 1, 2025, to January 31, 2025."
After selling period:
Product message: Enter "This product's sale ended on January 31, 2025."
Alert message: Enter "The sale of the product has ended."
4. Click "Save" in the top right corner of the screen.
Step 2: Apply the Selling Period Rule to Products
From the app's left menu, click "Product List."
On the Product List page, check the box next to the products you want to apply the rule to.
Click the "Apply Rule" button.
In the dialog that appears, select the rule you created in Step 1.
Click "Apply" within the dialog.
